Sean Selinger, CEO  scored the equivalent of an 800 on today’s math SAT at age 13. He went on to Cornell to study neurobiology, where he was in the top 1.5 percentof his class, and Oxford University to study English literature. Then, he worked as a Wall St. technology analyst.

Mr. Selinger has consulted with leading figures in the test prep industry, including going to ETS headquarters in Princeton and working with a former chairman of the College Board. 800score tests were developed in concert with the GMAT’s chief psychometrician. In addition, he’s worked with Kaplan for 10 years. He partnered with Andrew Yang when he did test prep before politics. He also made test questions with Ron Purewal, the world’s highest-scoring test prep expert.

800score computer simulations of the GMAT and GRE have been licensed by dozens of prep companies and universities. Building standardized tests gives you an inside view into test questions and psychometric analytics. Sean’s 120 SAT students have a median score of 1480 (on par with Johns Hopkins and Cornell), one of the most successful records of any SAT tutor, worldwide.
